1977 Honda XL100

  • Images by Shawn Glad

This 1977 Honda XL100 is finished in Tahitian Red and powered by a 99cc four-stroke single paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Features include 17” rear and 19” front wheels, plastic fenders, chrome handlebars and mirrors, street lighting, a conventional fork, dual rear shocks, a helmet holder, an engine guard, a side stand, drum brakes, and a black vinyl seat. I acquired this XL100 in 2017 and it has a clean Oregon title.

Everything works including all electrics

All electrics including headlight, turn indicators, brake light, horn, and ignition function properly. This XL100 is in good original condition and runs/operates as intended. The carburetor was replaced with an aftermarket equivalent and the original will be included.

1,383 miles currently shown

Recent services include oil, new battery, new Shinko front tire and Kenda rear tire, and new front/rear brakes. Odometer shows less than 1,400 total miles.

Let me know if you have any questions.

What is Shotgun Racer?

The name, Shotgun Racer, draws inspiration from the term ‘riding shotgun,’ which originated in the American Wild West. This term referred to the person sitting in the front passenger seat of a stagecoach or wagon, armed with a shotgun. Over time, it has evolved to symbolize sitting in the front passenger seat of any vehicle. It reflects our desire to get closer to the action, diving into the world of motorsports, exploring cars, drivers, and their shared history.
